Visiting a new chiropractor should feel straightforward.
Your first appointment at U Chiropractic gives Emma the time to get to know you, understand what has brought you in and undertake an appropriate assessment before discussing what the next steps may look like.
Before Arrival at U Chiropractic
Before your first appointment, you’ll have completed your Health History Form online. Please email info@uchiropractic.com.au if you have any questions.
This allows Emma to review your health history before your appointment and make the most of your time together.
Your Consultation & Examination
Please allow up to 50 minutes in your schedule for your initial appointment at U Chiropractic.
Your appointment gives you plenty of time to talk through what has brought you to U Chiropractic. Emma will take the time to understand your health history, current concerns and what you would like to achieve from your care.
Your examination will include relevant orthopaedic and neurological testing and, where appropriate, primitive reflex assessments. The assessment will be tailored to you and your individual needs, rather than following exactly the same process for every person.
What Happens Next?
Following your examination, Emma will talk you through her findings and explain what she recommends based on your individual needs.
If a referral or further investigation is appropriate, Emma will guide you through this. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions, understand your options and decide what feels right for you.
Because understanding your care is part of your care.
Which appointment should I book?
NEW CLIENT: For brand-new clients who have not previously received chiropractic care from Dr Emma.
PREVIOUS PATIENT OF DR EMMA: For clients who have received chiropractic care from Dr Emma within the past 12 months at another clinic and are now new to U Chiropractic.
EXISTING U CHIROPRACTIC CLIENT: For existing U Chiropractic clients who have been receiving regular chiropractic care at U Chiropractic.
